Default Hi-Steer

Hi All, long time....

Anyhow - my Heep is no longer my DD so I am looking at putting a few different bits and pieces on it.

A Hi-steer came to mind.

I have a couple of questions in regards to these (i did a search but didn't find too much)

1- Is it worth it?
2- I know there is quite a bit involved, which is fine. However, is there a kit of sorts to suit our RHD TJ's?

My TJ has a TnT Long Arm kit, with 4.5" Rubicon Express Springs, and Bilstein 5450 (i think) shocks. 1" body lift as well. Running 35" boots.

Any suggestions are more than welcome. I'm just curious at this point.

Thanks.
Will.

Will,
Give us a call for a chinwag sometime.
What are you after? More turning power, less binding or better geometry?
Keeping D30?
IMHO a WJ isn't bad conversion, but I don't really like any of the other D30 solutions for histeer. But think bigger/better brakes too
For non-DD, if you want more power I'd say consider a Hydro assist.

Thanks wooders!

I will do that, for sure. I'm after, less binding / geometry / clearance of all those important steering bits. Steering power hasn't really ever been a consideration - but i'm open to suggestions.

I'll give you a call this week sometime.

I also need to organise some rims for my old mans CJ8 - so will get that at the same time.

Thanks.
Will.
