has a years rego. Going to get mud flaps, extend the flares, and get smaller tyres. Then there is no reason it shouldnt be fine for road duties. thing out handles, brakes most wranglers on the road. drives really well

I think it would too, however, the boys in blue and RTA may think otherwise. Most wranglers dont have fuel cells and notched chassis
Are the plans to wait for a defect, then work out engineering/rego?

chassis is recessed, not notched. so will be fine.
dont see why there would be any problem with the fuel cell in the rear. alot of patrols etc have fuel tanks in the back.

only thing is the tyre size. and as i said, will look at some smaller ones if it sees alot of black top.

It looks very neat, and alot more road worthy. but have alot more to do. will be cleaning up the rear, getting a full soft top tinted windows to cover up the rear. will have a tool box, and various other things in the back.

Im currently in talks with an engineer atm, so will be doing a few things, then have another visit see how we go

Ahhh yep yep, most of them are to silly to notice small details (well the full extent to what is done), and with a full soft top and tint i think you'll go un-noticed for a while, and its not like its a daily driver.
It looks super neat, no one in the world could say otherwise.
I hope it all gets engineered, cos that will be super

Just so we are clear, im not trying to hate on your truck, its completely the opposite. Im just askin heaps of questions cos im interested

installed my cargo rear rack on the jeep yesterday.

very solid. modified it to clear the coilovers, and bolted it on, instead of stock design, made it alot firmer...

Installed my bonnet vents. looks pretty good. easy to do.
