yeah that's what I thought. I was there for 5hrs, while they were fiddling...they told me it was throwing codes but didn't tell me which codes they were...they said the 2 sensors and then when the car would not start (as mentioned at the start of this post), they reckoned the code was that of a faulty TB.

Where are the crank and camshaft sensors located??
And also, I tried searching for a TB on the net, but only came up with the above link...where did you guys see a TB for $80?

thanks and best to all

Bingo X 2

Check the plug on the crank sensor doesn't have crud in it... poor connections aren't unknown.

Angry Update!!!!

Well...I received the new Throttle body from the US about 15min ago...So I decided to install it seen that it's a Mopar Dodge Viper..hehe!!!!

Now, guess why they wanted to replace the Throttle Body at the dealership???? I actually cleaned it 2 months ago and inspected it...Obviously it was OK....

Please see attached pic and find out!!!!

Would it be grossly unfair if I went in there and started bashing heads????

Ta..

HI JetKev,

yeah, I have the 2 sensor on their way from the US as well...

There's no point in arguing with the dealership, and I cannot waste more of my time.
I just won't go back there in a hurry. Only problem with these jeeps is that you need some sort of computer to read the codes...

Best to all
