I'm looking at a stretch+traingulated long arm. Thinking of building my own but copying someone elses design ( very complicated when you start looking at anti squat etc)
convert to outboard coilovers in the rear to solve the issue of the spring seat being in the wrong place and take a saw to the rear panel and figure something for flares

There are a few places that sell the components to do what you want. Due to the high cost of the kit prices, This is the way to go for me too. A lot of the cheaper options are of a radius arm design where all the top end kits are 3 or 4 link front & triangulated 4 link rear. I run the Full Traction rear triangulated conversion & highly recommend it. The pic is of an off the shelf DIY kit ex USA. If any Australian vendors offer a kit like this, now is a good time to tell us about it incl. pricing

I'm planning on using ruffstuff.com single triangulated brackets and heims. And source the tube locally. I'll be back halving it with an artec kit and just making some coilover mounts. That way I can dial my numbers to suit me and same with wheelbase rather than using a kit.

How long are those arms? They look fairly short for a long arm?

No disrespect to the Full Tractuon kit, but I would disagree with a few points.
Firstly IMHO its not the best kit.
Second as said thats not a Long Arm kit in the pic.
Third the assumption linking radius arms to price.

What sort of tube you using moly? Or steel? I'd reckon 40nb extra heavy would do it.

My Tj came with the Rough Country Long Arm Kit when i bought it. So far I can't fault it at all.

I'm running 3.5" raised springs and 4" shocks i still run out of shock travel before i run out of flex in the joints. I'm looking into changing the springs & shocks to the double action Metal Cloak Springs & Shocks so i can get more travel.
