Thanks everyone for the feedback. Will look into drilling etc and update as i get info. May keep it as if depending on cost but if could match would rock not just for the look but also the extra spares. Were off to the Kimberly later this year so looking to carry as many spares as possible & the trailer will be loaded to the hilt

Even if you had it drilled, the hubs wont fit the standard JK alloy rims because its center is too small. You'll have to either run spacers (not legal in qld) or go steel rims with bigger centers.

Cheers for that, but bummer.

And i assume with the steel option that while I could put them on the jk, i couldn't put the ome rims on the trailer. So would needs to be new rims all round

Drilling stud pattern is easy done...but the wheel backspacing would probably require longer axles. Axles are not that expensive. I would do that over spacers because if an accident happened an insurance company would wipe you.

This question comes up weekly and so we can all pass on info that is useful I took a few photos for perspective.
This will not fit in the JK rims without machining the centre of the JK rim to suit and then it will not be suitable as a spare for your JK... So what's the point?? You cannot simply get blank hubs drilled to suit a JK stud pattern!!

See the problem (that is also ignoring the step on the hub face to centre a Landcruiser rim as some don't have them).
You could get around this ILLEGALLY by using ford hubs with TJ-JK wheel spacers and might have enough depth to fix the backspace and hub dia issues.
Do so at your own risk and potential legal liability!!!!
As others have said, basically not worth your effort! Match rim size, ie all 17" and carry the one spare each for both car and trailer and a spare tyre carcass and learn to demount tyres if you are that remote.
Matt.

thanks Maca2801

might just be the 5 x JK OME rims on the JK + the 3 rimes/tires that came with the camper. might see where i can mount/hold a second JK spare (rime & tire or just tire)

dont plan to go crazy and plan to drive to the conditions, but dont want to get stuck on the Gibb river Rd and have to pay rediculious prices to get put back together
