Can one of you guys please detail to me the main differences between Laredo and Limited eg on these two?

That seems to be an early build MY11 Limited - I think it has front recovery hooks from the photos. The hooks were dropped from MY12 (groan). I cannot see if it has air suspension, so does it have Off Road adventure pack? The Laredo does have this option and personally this is a must for me.

The main changes between a Limited and a Larado is leather as standard in the Limited, 20inch wheels, and Nav. Big deal.

The Laredo has far fewer K's.

I'd get the Laredo between these two and spend $100 on a TomTom.

Did you have any issues with your MY12 at all?
Heaps - but mainly niggly little things and all dealt with under warranty. The only big failure was an idler pulley let go at about 1000k's. Unfortunately Jeep Australia are pretty good at making mountains out of mole hills when things go wrong. Nothing that prevented me from getting another Jeep however - I now have a MY15 Overland.

What did you let it go for if you dont mind me asking?
Twice my lease residual amount after four years. Happy with that.

The cars you are looking at are the right ball park as far as price goes.

70% resale after four years?!

EDIT: That puts it at the top end of the redbook private sale guide, certainly doable. GG Resale.

Why do you say the air suspension is a must for yourself Gregm?

The leather is a must for me, using the car to drag a fishing boat around we are always getting in and out covered in salt water etc... Its much easier to wipe down leather than getting dried salt water out of cloth interior.....

Im not sold on having SAT nav, current car has it and google maps on the iphone is 10x better IMO.

I do require a rear camera for hitching and unhitching by myself though. These are standard on the Laredo yes?

About 60% of my financed amount.

We use our car off road, so the air suspension gives us extra clearance. I know you can get a lift for steel spring cars, but I don't really want to drive around with compromised handling for the other 98% of the time. Air suspension is great too for hooking up your trailer.

I guess I agree, but I have a boat too and kids. Just put a towel down. I did have a bit of a salt stain but just before I sold the car I had the cloth steam cleaned - all good.

I could not give a rats about Nav. I have a HEMA which is way better than the factory one. What you pay for a factory Nav, by virtue of having to get a Limited, is ridiculous.

The MY12 GC Laredo had a good factory camera as standard. The latter MY14 had an aftermarket camera fitted by dealers - some were belter than others. Check which camera is fitted - the good ones are fitted in a nice contoured moulding and look like they belong - same as the Limited and Overland ones. The later ones look like a small black square box stuck on - something you would buy from Aldi.
