LCMP was the venue for the 4wd trips at the last Jambo held by the Qld Jeepers in 1999 so been there done that attitude applys,
Quote:
My thoughts
1. Scenery ....green, hills trees rivers rainforest, with rocks too, something uniquely Qld
That would be nice, however many parts of S.E Qld are no go zones.
All this input is helpful but at the end of the day there will be people un-happy with any venue.
I say It's not the place it's what YOU make it. The Qld Jeepers have held two successful Jambo's in the past and I'm sure this will be no exeption.

My apologies OzJeeper, I had been working in a neutral script all day and didn't even think about the fact that having the "caps lock" on is actually offensive when emailing or addressing forums. No harm intended.

Big arse Jeep jumping castle for the kids.
You have to have a jumping castle onsite.
My two cents.

I have only been to one comp watching the big boys play in the creek at mud, bulls&music at LCMP and found it rather slow and boring and most people I spoke to about it all thought the same. Next time I'll take the bottle 'o red and the chess board. I do think it would be good to do some tracks without damaging the panel work too much as well as some half day trips to local sceenic spots with much scocialising in the evenings at camp. Swap meet good idea. I'll be as happy as a jeep in the mud just to be at a jambo wherever it is.
