Guess I will be opening a diff up to take a look seeing as I don't believe you can't pull a shaft without opening the diff on a Jeep.....

You can pull the axels out with out opening the center unless its a Rear D35c , 10 minutes with the right tools & either side will be out .

Only in the Rear Dana35c found in most XJs and even then its an easy job
