Default Huge mistake ... really big ... need help !!

Last weekend I test drove a Grand Cherokee Limited (V8 and CRD).

What a mistake that was !!

I thought I had made up my mind to go ahead to purchase a Toyota Prado and only stopped in at the Jeep dealership because it was on the way home and my brother wasn't keen to get home too early.

Well, anyway, now I have changed my mind and am seriously considering buying one. The problem is I can't decide between the Hemi (hubba hubba) or the 3.0l CRD.

I would really like some feedback from current owners of both cars what their experience has been like. The car will be leased I am relatively immune to the petrol costs, as the monthly lease payments are within $30 per month.

What should I do, diesel or petrol?

can you really resist that big hemi!?!?

but if petrol cost isn't a biggy i'd go the hemi from everything i've heard there a really solid engine. not that the CRD is bad engine though.

if your gonna be going offroad alot that power definitely could come in use!

oh and by the way excellent choice over the prado! cant say i like the prado's at all.....
i drove the big hemi Cherokee today, beautiful car to drive very comfortable!

Diesel is the smarter choice for fuel economy, if planning on going out to the middle of Australia or even for resale value.
But ....can't pass up the might roar of the HEMI when fuel cost don't matter.
Personally if I had the choice it would be Overland with the Hemi and Brilliant Black.

I think you just answered your own question, ol' dog. Go the hubba hubba!!!!!!
And don't forget that the Toy Prado is only a Jeep wannabee in any case, minus 2 cylinders to boot Pttttttt!!!!

If you want to go off road the only way to go is diesel. Why, more low down grunt "torque"
If you plan to tow big stuff go diesel. Why, more low down grunt "torque"
If you want better resale go the diesel.
If it the go factor and a street machine and you can't resist the rumble of a big block Hemi go the 5.7 petrol.
