JKS, they are awesome, easy to use and greasable. The rubicon electric disco still limits flex, I did test and mine and got a few inchs extra measuring from the wheel to the flare with the proper dico's

Best thing about the electric dico leaving it disconnected making it extremely easy to re connect the JKS sway bar links, then turn of E-Disco off after your all connected back up, no more worrying about being on level ground or anything like the non rubicons

You can get a manual operator for the Rubi swaybar system WHEN it stuffs up. DBOR definitely sell them and probably others.

Removing / replacing links in the mud etc doesn't appeal to me.

Other options are units like the Teraflex single and dual rate swaybars.... easy to use and work well on and off road but in my experience you do need to maintain them.
There are pure off road swaybars like the Currie but they are too light on road for my taste.

Mine wasnt working when i bought it, ive looked at the ones that use the factory system but they either cost a fortune or have the light flashing on the dash, ive noticed on dbor website they make there own manual ones with a holder and everything the get them out of the way when in use for 180

MY 2011 JKU Rubicon electronic sway bar disconnect works perfectly on my 3.5" lift. I did remove it a few months ago to give it a check over and make sure it was clean and dry inside though. I found that there was some moisture inside so I gave gave it a wash and rebuild using marine grease on the internal casing and parts and it's faultless. The only time the light flashes is when I have it disconnected at high speed in 4HR or trying to make it engage or disengage when the cars not level which is what it's meant to do. I think it's the best system since sliced bread, you just got to make sure they don't get flooded with muddy water and then leave them to corrode to death, just do your maintenance.

I bought the Evo off road manual Rubicon swaybar unit and a AEV Procal to disable the dashlight.

One thing a mate put me onto was when replacing the electric motor with the manual handle, after you take it apart and clean it out all the muck fit CV boot rubbers over each end of the swaybar unit to prevent 99% of the water and mud getting in.

Since he's done his he's had virtually no ingestion of crud and hasn't had to take it apart again.

I use the DBOR disconnect set....I like that they have a parking mount for the links when disconnected.
