simply run it all the way forward - a bit slow as it is electric - and you can lift up the panel which covers the well. Lift from the rear edge and it has 4 clips - 2 at the rear, two at the front.

The well under the passenger seat has a few computer modules under it.

Cheers

I'm looking at this also but thought I could run the cable all the way to the jump start terminals under the bonnet. No penetrations into the cabin, and easy access for a circuit breaker. Is this too easy or am I missing something?

You have a WG I gather from your monica. They have batteries under the bonnet. The WK2's battery (which I didn't know either) has it's battery inside the cabin under the drivers seat.

What a pain if you use that battery to air up or even pump up kids bike tyres.

Not really, the WK2 has easily accessed jump start terminals under the bonnet. These are directly connected to the main battery.

And in answer to WGO1 above - I have seen photos of installations where battery isolator power has been taken from these terminals - certainly doable.

I made the choice to source all my power (via a Piranha isolator) from the main battery as inside the cabin is where most of it connects to auxiliary stuff, including my DC/DC charger and second battery. It isn't hard to pop out a cable to the tow bar for an Anderson plug through an existing grommet in the spare well, beside where the towbar wiring loom exits the body.

I have run a cable with eyelets from terminals in engine bay
With 6 m cable under the car in to Anderson plug at rear I bought ready made off ebay. Worked on my wh but the voltage doesn't seem to be enough as the vsr on my trailer doesn't charge .i may need a dc to dc charger to boost as the vsr has a cutout. Need to chech what voltage is coming at the back of the Anderson plug first.
